 ABOUT BEAR LAKE, MICHIGAN:
The Village of Bear Lake Michigan is located in the northern half of Manistee County, approximately 15 mile north of Manistee and 45 miles south of Traverse City. Bear Lake is located just five miles from Lake Michigan shores.
A quiet community surrounds the 1,800 acre lake where fishing, swimming, sailing, and boating are enjoyed.

Campgrounds, antique shops, 18 hole golf course, and a western theme park and riding stable are nearby. Cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and hunting bring visitors to the area during the winter months.

 Household Refuse Pick Up for both Townships is at Pleasanton Township Hall in conjunction with drop off recycling of glass etc., summer hours of every Saturday.

HOPKINS PARK CAMPGROUND:
Reservations: We will accept reservations for monthly and seasonal rentals AFTER February 1st, 2008. Reservations for less time will start 8:00 AM on March 1, 2008. Reservations accepted by phone after 8:00 a.m.
Deposits: Deposits must be received within 2 weeks of reserving your space or your reservation will not be held.
